Popular Wexford restaurant to close down and move to Gorey

A popular Wexford restaurant is set to close down…

However, it’s not all bad news. In fact, it’s really postive news for the owners.

Barbecue Cowboys were based in the village of Hollyfort – about 8 minutes outside of Gorey – for the past number of years, however, they have now secured a new location in Gorey town. Their move to Gorey is a positive one as it provides an opportunity to gain more footfall in the busy town.

It means that they will be closing their premises at Hollyfort to focus on their new premises in the bustling Gorey town in North Wexford.

“We’re hangin’ up the boots in Hollyfort… but don’t worry — we ain’t ridin’ off into the sunset just yet,” the owners said.

Barbecue Cowboys prides itself on authentic American-style smoked meats and unique signature dishes. Menu highlights and top offerings include ‘smoked beef brisket…pulled pork…fall-off the bone ribs … cajun chicken.’

The owners stated that they have signed and secured a new Gorey location, and that they will reveal their new location in the coming days.
