The group stages for the 2025 Wexford Senior hurling championship concluded over the weekend…
Rathnure topped their group in Group A, winning all of their five matches. In Group B, St Martins did the same – winning 5 from 5.
After St Annes managed to secure a draw against Naomh Eanna in their final round, St Annes have now been placed directly into the quarter-final stages.
In Group B, Faythe Harriers finished in second place – granting them automatic qualification into the quarter-final stages too (alongside Rathnure and St Martins).
The remaining teams – the teams that have finished 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th in their groups will play a preliminary quarter-final.
The losers of the two 5th v 6th place matches will contest the relegation rinal. This means that the games between Oylegate and Oulart, and Glynn-Barntown vs Crossabeg essentailly act as a relegation semi-final too.
