New hobby and board game store to open in Wexford

A new hobby and board game store is set to open in County Wexford soon…

The new hobby and board game store – namely, Dragon Horde Games – will soon open its doors on 25 Henrietta Street to the public.

The shop, located at 25 Henrietta Street, promises to be more than just a retail space – it’s being designed as a community hub where people can gather, play, and connect.

“For years, I’ve dreamed of creating a place where gamers of all kinds can come together to play, make friends and discover everything tabletop hobbies have to offer,” the owner said. “Whether you’re into board games, trading card games, miniatures or roleplaying adventures, our mission is simple: to provide a home for gaming, build a welcoming community and spark a little adventure,” owner Paul said.

The team officially collected the keys to the premises on Thursday September 18th and have now begun transforming it into their vision of a vibrant gaming space.

“We got the keys to our new space and the journey officially begins! There’s lots of work ahead before we open and we’d love for you to be part of it,” they added. “Follow along here, share our posts and tag a friend who might want to join the horde. Every bit of support means the world,” Paul said.

While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, work is already underway, and the new owners are encouraging locals to get involved from the very start.

“You’ll find us at 25 Henrietta Street, and we’ll be in the shop most days as we get ready. If you’re passing by, pop in and say hello; we’d love to meet you!” they said.

The store looks set to add an exciting new dimension to Wexford’s social and retail scene – offering everything from trading card tournaments to casual board game nights, alongside plenty of opportunities for people to meet like-minded players.
