
Wexford has been issued with a Yellow weather warning…
Met Éireann has issued a Yellow weather warning for Wexford – and the rest of Ireland – as Storm Amy moves in later this week.
The alert warns of strong to near gale force and gusty southwesterly winds, valid from 12:00 on Friday, 3 October until midnight on Saturday, 4 October.
Potential impacts include difficult travelling conditions, debris and loose objects being displaced, and the possibility of some fallen trees across the county.
The warning was officially issued at 11:26 on Wednesday, 1 October.
Locals are advised to take caution, secure outdoor items, and allow extra time for travel during the affected period.
Other parts of Ireland including Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo will be under an Orange warning. Locals are advised to keep updated with the weather conditions, as things could change.
