All you need to know ahead of the Wexford Senior hurling final

The date and time has been confirmed for the 2025 Wexford Senior hurling final….

Who’s playing in the Senior final?

Rathnure will take on St Martins.

Both teams are unbeaten in this year’s championship, and there’s no doubt that the two best teams of the championship have made it through to the final. Rathnure are the story of this year’s championship, having came up from the Intermediate Championship last year. Rathnure were 40/1 outsiders to claim the title ahead of the Wexford SHC campaign.

Sunday, October 26th

What time does it start?

3.30pm

Where is it taking place?

Wexford Park.

What are the teams?

The teams have not yet been revealed. They will appear here once released to the media.

What are the betting odds?

According to Betfair and PaddyPower, St Martins enter the clash as 8/15 favourites, while Rathnure are 7/5 to capture the title.

Is it on tv, or being streamed?

It will not be broadcast on TG4 or on RTE.

However, it will be available to watch online through Clubber TV. The pay-per-view stream on the Clubber platform costs €16.99.

When did they last win the SHC title?

St Martins are the reigning champions, having won the title in 2024. Rathnure, on the other hand, have not won the title since 2006.

Who will the Wexford champions face in the Leinster Club Championship?

The Wexford Senior hurling champions will take on the Dublin Senior hurling champions in the Leinster Club Championship. Lucan Sarsfields are set to take on Na Fianna (reigning Dublin, Leinster, and All-Ireland champions) in the Dublin Senior hurling final on 25 October. Last year, Wexford champions St Martins lost out to Na Fianna by four points in their Leinster Club Championship campaign.

In this year’s Leinster SHC Club Championship, the Wexford champions will be placed into a quarter-final against the Dublin champions and it will take place on 9th November 2025. The winners of the quarter-final will take on the winners of Mount Leinster Rangers (Carlow) and Naas (Kildare) in the semi-final.

Is there a curtain-raiser for the Wexford SHC final?

Yes, at 1:30pm. The Intermediate ‘A’ final will take place between Duffry Rovers and Davidstown-Cortnacuddy.

Where can I get tickets?

Tickets can be purchased online via Universe. General admission tickets cost €25, OAP’s cost €10, while u-16s can enter for free – but must be accompanied by an adult.
