Multiple new faces brought into Wexford Senior hurling backroom team

There has been some changes to the Wexford Senior hurling backroom team…

Ahead of the new inter-county season, a number of people have been brought into the Wexford Senior hurling backroom team.

Andy Ronan (Rathnure) has been brought in by manager Keith Rossiter as an additional selector for the upcoming season.

Meanwhile, Shane O’Brien, who previously managed the Westmeath Seniors and the Dublin u-20 team, has been brought in as a coach.

Another coach, Shane Keegan of Laois, who was the manager of JK Brackens in Tipperaray this year and a former League of Ireland manager, has been brought into the set up.

On the Strength and Conditioning front, Chris Coburn (Dublin) has been brought in. Hepreviously worked with the Kilkenny Senior hurling team, the Wicklow Senior footballers, and Munster Rugby.

The news was revealed at the most recent County Board meeting held in Wexford Park on 22 October 2025.
