Wexford’s Dean Furlong aiming to go 7-0 this weekend

Professional Wexford boxer, Dean Gonzalez Furlong, will be back in action this weekend…

The Wexford man will be aiming to go 7-0 in the professional boxing ranks this weekend when he steps back into the ring.

“Speedy” will be stepping up to 8 rounds for the first time in his professional boxing career.

The Wexford man will be coming up against a 37-year old Brazilian fighter, Sergio Dos Santos, with a current pro boxing record of 13 wins and 4 losses. In his previous five fights, he lost four while another one was ruled a no-contest.

The Boxeo card will take place on Saturday 15th November in Alicante, Spain.

Furlong will be looking to continue build mometum and to go 7-0, gaining more ring experience with the scheduled eight-round contest.
