The top 5 most Instagramable locations in Wexford have been revealed…

Tintern Abbey has been revealed as the most Instagrammed location in Wexford, according to new research. 

The study, carried out by Virgin Media Ireland, analysed the number of tagged Instagram posts across the county’s most visited sights and attractions.

The analysis used the total number of posts to determine the destinations that are most popular with social-media-sharing visitors. 

Tintern Abbey claimed the number one spot with 39,368 tagged Instagram posts, securing its position as the county’s most photographed landmark. The popular destination also performed strongly at national level, ranking 31st overall in the Top 50 Most Instagrammable Spots in Ireland. 

Known for its rich history and stunning architecture, the attraction continues to draw visitors eager to capture the perfect photo. 

Other spots analysed included Hook Lighthouse, with 18,519 posts, while Johnstown Castle secured third place thanks to 9,956 posts. Following that was Curracloe Beach and Duncannon Fort, both long-standing favourites with tourists and locals alike.
