Dates revealed for 2026 Gorey Market House Festival

The Gorey Market House Festival is one of North Wexford’s best-known community festivals, taking place annually in the heart of the town…

Held each summer, the free three-day event transforms the town’s Main Street and surrounding areas into a lively hub of music, entertainment, and family fun.

Organised with the support of Wexford County Council, the free festival showcases a wide variety of live performances, including tribute acts, local bands, and dance displays.

The organisers have since revealed the dates — and people are starting to get excited already. The 2026 Gorey Market House Festival will take place across the August Bank Holiday weekend, from Friday 31 July to Sunday 2 August.

The organisers, who have opened up applications for musicians, have not yet announced any line-up or acts, but they will do so in due course.

Street entertainment, busking competitions, and vibrant market stalls add to the festive atmosphere across the weekend.

Family-friendly attractions are a central feature of the programme, with highlights such as a Family Fun Day, street markets, and themed runs and activities for children taking place in local parks and public spaces.

Now a staple of the summer calendar, the Gorey Market House Festival attracts visitors from across the region, supporting local businesses while celebrating community spirit, music, and culture in the town centre.
