Wexford Masters hurling team are recruiting new players

The Wexford Masters hurling team are actively seeking new players to strengthen their panel for the 2026 season….

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced hurlers aged 40 and over in 2026 to return to competitive action and represent their county at a high level.

The Masters grade offers a unique blend of competitiveness, camaraderie, and passion for the game, making it an ideal platform for players who still have the drive to compete but may have stepped away from senior inter-county hurling.

Wexford enter this recruitment phase on the back of significant success, having reached the All-Ireland Masters final in each of the past two years. While they lost out to Tipperary on both occasions, these performances underline the strength and consistency within the squad. However, with the natural turnover that comes with age-grade teams, fresh talent is essential to maintain and build on this high standard.

New recruits will have the chance to play with a committed group, compete at a national level, and contribute to a genuine push for All-Ireland glory.

Interested players are encouraged to get involved and become part of a dedicated and ambitious Wexford Masters setup.

Those interested in joining the panel should contact manager Dave Guiney on: 087-236-2685.
