A well-known business property in Wexford was recently placed up for sale…
The Zurich Insurance building in Kerlogue Business Park, Drinagh, Co. Wexford has been placed on the market. It was listed on the market on 13 April 2026.
The asking price for the property is €5.9 million.
The advertisment, listed on Daft.ie, notes that a lease was signed in December 2007 – subject to a current rent of €540,739 per annum – with the lease ending in December 2033.
The well-known Wexford town building has been described as a “high profile modern building… with 103 surface car parking spaces” with a size of approximately 25,177 sq.ft.
Even though the building has been listed on the market, this does not mean that Zurich Insurance will discontinue their Wexford-based tenancy at the end of their current lease.
It is common with landlords and property management agencies, even with “blue chip tenants”, to list investment properties for sale — even years before their lease ends, just as is with this case.
This may put pressure on the company to sign a new long-term lease, which would reduce risk and in turn, place more value on the property.
