A new radio station has been launched in County Wexford…
Now operating out of the Gorey Business Park is WNSR, a brand-new local radio station serving Wexford North and Wicklow South.
Some familar voices are apart of the new local radio venture.
They include Dave Redmond, Johnnie Carter, and Jimmy Ryan. Dave Redmond in the morning, Johnnie Carter’s Lunchtime legends, Jimmy Ryan’s Drivetime slot. The trio have extensive experience in the local radio industry.
WNSR – The Best Mix officially went on air on Wednesday morning, with Dave Redmond in the morning (8-12) starting the show, Johnnie Carter from 12-3, and Jimmy Ryan from 4-7pm. As per their newly-created Facebook page, they will be broadcasting 24/7 and the radio station, available to listen to online or via their app, can be listened to worldwide.

Another new radio station, namely Gorey FM, is gearing up to get started with their new online radio station venture too. We reached out to Gorey FM via email one month ago, but they remained tight-lipped on their new venture.
Whether it’s a joint venture with WNSR, or completely different, remains to be seen.
