Draw made as Wexford’s opponents revealed for Tailteann Cup

The draw for the Tailteann Cup was made today…

After their dominant win against Limerick last weekend, it has now been revealed that the Wexford Senior footballers will travel to Fermanagh in Round 2A of the 2026 Tailteann Cup, it was confirmed this afternoon.

The draw pits the Model County against Fermanagh on the weekend of May 23/24 in what will be their first outing in this year’s competition.

A win in Enniskillen would secure a home quarter-final for Wexford, while defeat would see them enter a preliminary quarter-final and require an away fixture should they progress further.

The Tailteann Cup continues to offer a valuable pathway for counties outside the top tier of the All-Ireland series, with Wexford hoping to build on their league campaign and make a strong run in the knockout stages.

Further fixture details and venue confirmation are expected in due course.
