Sober DJ event to take place at Wexford coffee shop

A Wexford coffee shop is gearing up for a unique event…

Wexford town’s Kinfolk, the popular independent coffee spot inside Eclectic Avenue, is turning up the vibe this Friday evening with a special sober DJ event.

From 6pm to 9pm, DJ Den Musicistheanswer will deliver a mellow vinyl set taking listeners on a laid-back journey through leftfield electronica, downtempo, trip hop, ambient, and deep grooves.

Expect soulful cuts, rare finds, and genre-blurring selections drawing inspiration from the likes of Bonobo, Massive Attack, Groove Armada, and The Cinematic Orchestra.

The event promises a relaxed, alcohol-free atmosphere perfect for unwinding after the working week, with Kinfolk’s renowned coffee menu — including excellent hot and cold pours — and the warm company that the café is known for.

Whether you’re a vinyl enthusiast, a fan of chilled electronic sounds, or simply looking for a pleasant evening spot in town, this is a great opportunity to enjoy quality music in a welcoming setting.

Kinfolk invites everyone along for what should be a memorable night of good tunes, great coffee, and community connection.

It is set also to become a weekly event, taking place every Friday at Kinfolk (6-9pm).
