New addition to the cafe and food scene in Wexford town

A new addition to Wexford’s food scene has officially opened its doors at the recently opened Eclectic Avenue on North Main Street…

New addition, Kinfolk, brings a fresh vegetarian lunch spot to the Main Street of Wexford town. The outlet is located in the ‘Eclectic Avenue’ building, which has an array of other retailers there too.

The café offers a concise, flavour led lunch menu of artisan toasted sourdoughs and plant based bowls, designed to be both nourishing and satisfying. Many dishes are naturally gluten free or easily adapted.

Beyond the kitchen, Kinfolk also features a carefully curated retail space, showcasing vintage clothing, locally made beauty products, homewares, handmade gifts, and a sustainable grocery section with refill options; creating a space that blends food, retail, and conscious living under one roof.

“Kinfolk is not just a café and retail space, it is a return. A gentle pull back to what matters. A reconnection to nature, to slower living, to ourselves, and to each other. The word *kinfolk* speaks of your people. Your circle. The ones you feel at home with. And that is exactly what we are building, a space that feels like a second home. Somewhere you can land, breathe, create, and belong. Not just somewhere you pass through, but somewhere that stays with you,” they said following their recent opening.

Set within an industrial yet cosy interior, Kinfolk offers a relaxed daytime café experience, while also opening into an alternative evening space with late openings, casual meet ups, and live music.
