Ireland football player to feature in Wexford charity football match

A charity football match will take place this Saturday in County Wexford…

Organised by Mick Abidoye of CIE Promotions, the charity football match will be between CIE XI team and Enniscorthy United.

It will take place at Saturday, 6 June at 4pm at the brand-new Astro Turf in Enniscorthy.

This special event will bring together football fans, players, and the local community for an exciting day all in aid of St Vincent De Paul.

The CIE XI team will be led by Mick Abidoye Jnr and is set to feature Republic of Ireland international football player and Enniscorthy man, Festy Ebosele.

The squad will also include talented players such as John Peare, Ben Nugent, Angison Rivet, Joseph Akinyemi, Ashley Kabuba, and John Illunga, along with football league players, Eire Season boxers, and special guests travelling from Manchester.

The team will be coached by one of Wexford’s top football figures, Ken Kennedy, making this a match football fans will not want to miss.

This will also be the final football event hosted by CIE Promotions in Wexford, making it a historic occasion for the town and county. Tickets are available now on Eventbrite. Come support a great cause while enjoying a fantastic day of football and entertainment.
