Opening date for new golf course in Wexford revealed

Works are currently underway at the new Curracloe Links at Ravenport Resort, County Wexford…

Curracloe Links is poised to spearhead what will become one of Ireland’s leading golf destinations – the sunny south east.

Located adjacent to the iconic Curracloe Beach, the 18-hole links course has been masterfully brought to life by the award-winning architecture team of Jason Straka and Dana Fry, renowned for their environmentally sensitive and strategic approach to golf course architecture.

Extensive works are currently underway at the new golfcourse. It has been revealed that play will begin April 1, 2027 and golfers wishing to add Ireland’s newest links course to their bucket list can inquiry for availability through their website.

The course, which is in the final stages of construction and grassing, blends a rolling landscape with stunning natural coastal terrain to offer a truly unforgettable Irish golfing experience.

The golf course is adjacent to the recently opened Ravenport Resort, which features 49 guest rooms, refined dining at Willow Restaurant and the Dunes Bar, and the brand-new Lír Spa & Health Club, with a 15-metre pool. A number of golf lodges will also be available upon the golf course opening.

Curracloe Links at Ravenport Resort is the second golf-oriented property owned by Neville Hotels. In 2019, the company took ownership of the five-star Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort. A €10 million restoration of the Pat Ruddy and Tom Craddock designed golf course was completed in 2023 and earned the property “Golf Resort of the Year” by the Irish Golf Tour Operator Association.
