Fixture details confirmed for Round 1 of Wexford Senior hurling championship

The start of the Wexford Senior hurling championship is only around the corner…

Wexford GAA recently confirmed the fixture lists for the upcoming championships, which are set to commence on Friday June 26. All fixtures from the Wexford SHC will take place on either Friday June 26 or Saturday June 27.

St Martins are not only the reigning Wexford Senior hurling champions, they are the reigning Leinster Senior club champions too. Although the bookies have not released their outright odds yet, they’ll find it hard to look past them claiming silverware again in 2026 as they bid for a historic three-in-a-row of Wexford SHC titles.

The last team to win 3-in-a-row was Oulart The Ballagh (2011, 2012, 2013). It was a period of domination from Oulart, who actually claimed a five-in-a-row when winning titles from 2009 to 2013, and won ten Wexford Senior Hurling titles from 2004 to 2016 — but have failed to win one since.
