Enniscorthy’s Ben Doyle has claimed his first Ultimate Pool Pro Series title…
With the fantastic win, he has become only the second Irish player to win the prestigious championship.
Doyle, who only entered the professional ranks in Feb 2025, produced a superb display in Bolton, defeating Rob Wharne 8–4 in the final to secure the biggest title of his career.
His road to victory was equally impressive. After overcoming the highly regarded Tom Cousins 8–2 in the Round of 64, Doyle went on to defeat Kyle Cope, Shane Thompson, Connor Jones and Adam Davis before lifting the trophy.
The achievement marks a major milestone for the Wexford player, whose success continues to raise the profile of cue sports in the county.
Congratulations have also been extended to runner-up Rob Wharne for reaching another Pro Series final.
For Doyle, however, the weekend belonged to the Enniscorthy man as he celebrated a memorable first Ultimate Pool Pro Series crown.
