We’ve found the best restaurants, best beer gardens, best coffee, best activities, and now, here we are with the top 5 best pubs in Wexford.
The online poll to find Wexford’s Best Pub, sponsored by Jimmy’z Bar in Riverchapel, was published on Wexford Weekly’s Facebook page and Instagram page from July 1 to July 7. 545 voted on the Facebook poll, while an additional 31 people voted on the Instagram page.
5 – Conran’s Bar
Conran’s Bar in Rathnure is a charming family-run pub renowned for its warm hospitality and expertly poured pints. Recently refurbished while retaining its traditional character, it offers a relaxed setting where locals and visitors gather for conversation, sporting occasions and celebrations. Its friendly atmosphere and strong community connections have earned it an excellent reputation across County Wexford.
4 – The Crazy Bear
The Crazy Bear in Oulart is a lively local pub offering a friendly welcome, relaxed surroundings and regular entertainment. Popular with residents and visitors, it provides a comfortable place to enjoy drinks, social gatherings and live music. Its community-focused atmosphere, attentive service and traditional Irish hospitality make it a valued meeting place in the heart of rural Wexford. They received 45 individual votes to secure 4th place, while it must be noted that they also ranked in the Top 5 Beer Gardens in Wexford, highlighting that this pub is a true all-rounder.
3 – Quigley’s Bar
Quigley’s of Kilmore is a much-loved village pub known for its welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent Guinness. A true community hub, it regularly hosts live music, darts and local events that bring people together. Combining traditional Irish charm with warm hospitality, Quigley’s remains a favourite destination for both locals and visitors exploring South Wexford. Quigley’s received 65 individual votes to secure third place on Wexford Weekly’s “Wexford’s Best Pub” list for 2026.
2 – Culleton’s of Kilrane
Culleton’s of Kilrane is a traditional Irish pub combining excellent food, quality drinks and genuine hospitality. Filled with fascinating memorabilia and quirky décor, it attracts both locals and ferry travellers passing through nearby Rosslare Harbour. Live music, hearty meals and famously good Guinness create a memorable experience, making it a popular stop before or after crossing the Irish Sea. Culleton’s of Kilrane secured second place on the Wexford’s Best Pub list for 2026 after receiving 98 individual votes across both Facebook and Instagram.
1 – The White House Bar
The White House Bar in Enniscorthy is one of County Wexford’s best-known traditional pubs, celebrated for its welcoming atmosphere, quality Guinness, live entertainment and community spirit. A favourite with locals and visitors alike, it features a spacious lounge, games area and beer garden. Regular music, sporting events and friendly service make it a popular social destination throughout the year. With this win, they’ve also made history: with 116 individual votes in 2026, it’s their third time in a row that they’ve been voted Wexford’s Best Pub!
