After a two-week hiatus for the football, the Wexford Senior hurling championship returns this Friday evening…
Although we’re still in July, we are already into Round 3 of the Wexford Senior Hurling Championship. In Group A, unbeaten teams St Martins and Shelmaliers face off against each other which is the pick of the games. Meanwhile, a struggling St Annes outfit will be looking for their first points of the campaign when they take on Naomh Eanna, who also struggled to get going in their recent Round 2 loss to Faythe Harriers.
In Group B, Oulart will take on Oylegate-Glenbrien which is sure to be another excellent encounter between two evenly matched sides. Enniscorthy district teams Rathnure and Rapparees will face off in a local derby clash too, although current table-toppers Rathnure and last year’s finalists may have a little bit too much for the Rapps this time out.
