A Wexford artist’s giant Trump-in-a-bin sculpture that went international after CAN-AL Fest has now landed in the middle of Dublin during Donald Trump’s visit to Ireland…
“The Trash Talker”, created by TinKicker, depicts Donald Trump sitting inside an Irish wheelie bin surrounded by rubbish.
The original sculpture is now on public display at Teal House Gallery, South Anne Street, Dublin 2, just off Grafton Street.
It first appeared at CAN-AL Fest in St Mullins in August and quickly spread through Irish and international press, video coverage and social media, including coverage in the Mirror and The Star.
Multiple Facebook pages also picked up the story. The Other 98% shared a picture of the sculpture; it gained over 110,000 likes on the Facebook platform and over 10,000 shares.
Now the actual artwork has made the move from the South East to Dublin at exactly the moment international attention is focused on the President’s visit.
The piece created by a Wexford artist that travelled around the world online is now sitting in the centre of Dublin while the real Donald Trump is in Ireland.
The sculpture can be photographed and filmed at the gallery.
