The HSE advises the Civil Registration Service offices at Ely Hospital, Ferrybank, Wexford are back in operation, open five days a week….
It had been necessary to temporarily close the offices, following water related damage incurred in the ground floor of the building in mid July.
Wexford General Hospital day procedures and outpatient appointments taking place in Ely Hospital were not affected and have continued on as normal.
The HSE apologies for inconvenience caused in the meantime and have thanked the public for its co-operation with alternative arrangements that were place as regards the registration of all births, deaths and marriages in Co. Wexford
Whilst works proceeded towards reinstating ground floor use of the premises at Ely, Civil Registration Services were available at the HSE Health Centres in Enniscorthy and New Ross and the Community Care Centre in Waterford.
The phone number for the Wexford Civil Registration Service offices – (053) 919 8260 – and its office e-mail Crs.Wexford@hse.ie remain active as a contact point.
People can book a birth or death registration appointment online for a date and time that they choose at Civil Registration service offices.
The public can purchase a certificate by phone and appointments may also be made online.
