There’s some excitement building for this one….
Professional Wexford boxer, David ‘Bomber’ Kennedy, has pencilled in a new fight date.
Interestingly, it’ll be an away trip for his loyal followers known as the Gorey ‘Bomb Squad’. They will be travelling to Alicante, Spain, to cheer on their man in his next bout.
Kennedy, now 4-0, will be looking for another victory when he steps into the ring again.
His next professional bout will take place on 14 November, 2026 — just over one month away at the time of writing.
Alicante is also the home and venue of Kennedy’s boxing county-part, Dean Furlong, who has regularly fought there over the past two years.
It’s likely that both Wexford boxers will be featuring on this upcoming card in Spain.
