Rugby Player From Wexford Signs Professional Contract With French Side

The Coronavirus has dominated the news lately…

There’s been little sports news since the pandemic emerged.

However, one significant piece of Wexford sports news, is the fact that Wexford native Robin Copeland has signed a new professional rugby contract.

Copeland, who was playing for Connacht, has signed a three-year contract with French Pro D2 side Soyaux Anglouleme XV Charente.

The Wexford man will join the French side after two years at Connacht, who he joined from Munster in 2018.
