Kilkenny legend Henry Shefflin was critical of Wexford on this week’s episode of The Sunday Game..
Henry Shefflin was speaking on RTE’s The Sunday Game last night.
The Kilkenny legend was critical of Wexford’s performances in 2020 who labelled them ‘poor’ and argued that the team looked like a team who were ‘over-coached’ but were ‘devoid of ideas’.
After the highs of 2019, a thirteen point loss to Galway and a loss to Clare in the qualifiers were disappointing results for Wexford.
Meanwhile, it was confirmed today that Davy Fitzgerald has committed to the Wexford hurlers for another year. That’ll be good news for the 62% (of 748) Wexford supporters who believed that Fitzgerald should continue in his role as manager.
As supporters, we’re all hoping that 2021 will offer an improved year for the Wexford hurlers.
