Have you checked your ticket? We have a Wexford winner again…

EuroMillions players in the coastal village of Ballymoney are today being urged to check their tickets carefully after a Wexford player won the top prize of €500,000 in Tuesday night’s EuroMillions Plus draw.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on the day of the draw at Hughes Foodmarket in the village of Ballymoney in Gorey, Co. Wexford.

The winning numbers for Tuesday’s (12th April) EuroMillions Plus draw were: 12, 14, 15, 27, 47.

Gráinne Hughes, who owns Hughes Foodmarket with her husband Bryan, was overjoyed to hear the news from the midweek EuroMillions draw:

“There has been such a buzz around the place since the we got the call from the National Lottery. It’s great to get good news like this and to hear that one of our customers had such a big windfall last night.”

“Our customer base is a mix of locals as well as of course seasonal trade at weekends and coming into summer so this is a real boost for the village. This is also the biggest prize that we have ever sold so it’s very exciting. We hope the winner enjoys the win and the good news,” she told Wexford Weekly.

Following the news that their store sold the winning EuroMillions Plus ticket worth €500,000 in Tuesday’s (12th April) draw, Laura Maloney and shop owners Gráinne and Bryan Hughes were photographed outside Hughes Foodmarket, Ballymoney, Gorey, Co. Wexford.

The Wexford winner, who now has a ticket worth €500,000, is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe. The winner should contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish Language. In total more than €6 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 34 years ago. In 2021 alone, €289 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
