“The Girls Have Earned Their Right To Be There” – Wexford Manager, Lizzy Kent

Wexford will take on Laois in the All-Ireland football final this Sunday…

Wexford lost out in the All-Ireland final to Westmeath last year. Under the watchful eye of Lizzy Kent, they return to Croke Park again this weekend on All-Ireland Final day. This time, however, they’ll be hoping for a different outing when they take on Laois.

Wexford’s Liam Spratt caught up with Wexford Ladies Football manager, Lizzy Kent, ahead of this weekend’s eagerly anticipated clash.

Speaking to Wexford LGFA’s Official YouTube, Kent stated:

“They’ve been phenomenal. Every day we go out, we want to get better. I see a big improvement individually and collectively. And on and off the field, a little bit of maturity about them and the way they’re going about their business.”

“The girls have put their shoulders to the wheel and they’ve earned the right to be there next weekend,” she stated.
