After their win against Kilkenny, helped by Offaly’s win over Laois, Wexford can now look forward to a Walsh Cup final…
The Wexford Senior hurlers are due to play Galway in the Walsh Cup final this weekend. The Wexford vs Galway match will also be the opening Allianz League clash for both teams after both teams agreed to double down on the fixture.
It was confirmed today that the Wexford-Galway match will be broadcasted live on television this weekend. It will be live on Irish television broadcaster, TG4.
Throw-in for the match will take place at 5pm on Saturday, Feb 4th.
For those thinking about staying at home and not attending the game in Wexford Park, they’ll be then able to switch over to RTE2 directly after the Wexford game, where they’ll be able to watch the Cork v Limerick opening Allianz League game at 7:30pm.
Wexford’s other Allianz Hurling League fixtures can be found here.
