Specsavers in Wexford town to celebrate its 20th birthday

The team at Specsavers Wexford will celebrate their 20th anniversary with customers next Tuesday, 27 June 2023….

There will be multiple prizes to be won, with local radio station, South East Radio, broadcasting live from the store on the day from 12 noon to 3pm.

On the day of the celebrations, there will be a chance to win a pair of designer sunglasses – perfect for the recent sun Wexford has been seeing.

Located on 25 South Main Street, Specsavers Wexford first opened its doors in 2003 and since then has proudly served the local community for all their eye care and audiology needs. Playing a role in the community has always been a priority for the Wexford store, primarily through their continuous support to raise funds for Meningitis Research Foundation (MRF).

The expertise of its colleagues, coupled with the technology available to them, makes Specsavers Wexford the perfect choice for optics and audiology services. Store directors Mags Smart, Steve Schokman, Rachel Hetherington and their highly trained team provide expert optical and audiology services along with offering stylish yet affordable eyewear.

Specsavers Wexford also specialises in audiology services with an on-site hearing centre that is led by Audiologist Rachel Hetherington. Rachel and her team have focused on providing the very best on-site hearing support to local and surrounding communities.

Speaking to Wexford Weekly, store director Mags Smart said:

“We are delighted to be celebrating our 20th birthday here at Specsavers Wexford! Two decades of serving the Wexford community with passion and pride. We look forward to welcoming our loyal customers and staff into store for many more years to come!’’

With the importance of regular eye and ear checks, Mags, Steve, Rachel and their team continue to place an unrivalled focus on professional development and technological advancement. Specsavers Wexford offers an unparalleled optical and hearing service that cater for all sectors of the market; from kids and the fashion conscious female glasses wearer, to those seeking glasses for work or other lifestyle purposes, as well as contact lens and hearing aid wearers. This ensures customers receive the best possible care and advice for all their optical and hearing needs.
