Both boxers will represent their school, Wexford CBS, in the European competition.

27 boxers from Ireland make up the Team Ireland squad.

Speaking on the announcement, a spokesperson for IABA Wexford stated:

“A big well done to CBS Boxing Club Wexford with two of their boxers on the European selection. It’s a great achievement. Keep up the good work lads,” they said.

As per a report on Irish-boxing.com, the tournament is being hosted by the Slovenian Boxing Federation in Maribor, from August 15th to 26th. The draw takes place on August 16th, and boxing begins on August 17th.
