Watch: Wexford Minor footballer scores goal in last kick of the game to secure Model win

The Wexford minor footballers played Meath last night…

It was in the Leinster Minor Championship and it was a preliminary quarter-final.

Wexford needed a last minute goal by Naomh Eanna club man, Tom Funge, to secure a place in the Leinster Quarter-final. Wexford were down by a point deep into injury time, but once Tom Funge seen the goal opportunity, he went for the juggler with the last kick of the game.

It marked an excellent individual performance from Tom Funge, who scored a hat-trick of goals, all of Wexford’s goals on the evening which seen them defeat the Royals on a score-line of 3-7 to Meath’s 0-14.
