The Wexford Senior hurling championship returned over the weekend…
One of the talking points from the games was Rory O’Connor’s goal against Crossabeg/Ballymurn in O’Kennedy Park, New Ross.
Wexford inter-county hurler and St Martins club player, Rory O’Connor, continued his excellent form and finished with a personal tally of 1-15 with 1-03 coming from play.
The level of free-taking and O’Connor’s influence proved vital. Only three points were scored by St Martins outside of O’Connor. St Martins would emerge victorious in the game on a score-line of 1-18 to 0-14.
