People came from everywhere to enjoy the Fleadh in Wexford town over the past week…
One person on hand to capture the magic of the Fleadh was Thomas McCormack, who is a freelance photojournalist.
He captured Latvian woman, Solvita McCormack, who was holding her baby throughout, sing songs such as ‘Black is the Colour’ and the ‘Galway Shawl’.
Speaking to Thomas, who directed and produced the videos, she said:
!It is what makes the Irish what they are as a nation. -A pure joy and great fun to be around with the family. It is also a message for world leaders to seek peace not war and the Fleadh send’s out a message of faith, hope, and love,” she said.
Thomas also captured the events of Wexford’s successful Guinness World record attempt, which can be watched on YouTube here.
