Wexford FC looking for a new manager for Men’s first team after Keddy’s departure

Wexford FC are on the hunt for their new manager…

Three days after the announcement that James Keddy was departing the Wexford FC Men’s first team, Wexford FC have advertised for the availability of the the new position.

James Keddy was announced as the Wexford FC manager in 2022.

Lasting two years, his departure was confirmed by Wexford FC in November 2024.

Ahead of Wexford FC’s final group games, there were rumours that Keddy’s time at Wexford was coming to an end, despite what happened in the play-offs.

Wexford FC unfortunately lost the play-offs and they will remain in the League of Ireland first division for 2025. Despite losing the play-offs, the season was an exciting one. Wexford FC were not only in contention in the League, but they performed excellently in the cup too – enjoying a fantastic run to the semi-final stages of the competition.

The Dublin native was thanked for his time with Wexford FC, with many Wexford FC supporters also holding fond memories:

“We are very grateful for his hard work in the project at Wexford FC and we were delighted to financially support James and his team in building our profile to get us where we are,” Wexford FC said in a statement.

Wexford FC are now inviting applications for the position of Men’s First Team Manager.

Applications should be emailed to careers@wexfordfc.ie

The closing date for applications is Friday 15th November 2024. All applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.
