A former Wexford footballer is continuing to gain experience in the managerial world…
Adrian Flynn, from the Guseranne O’Rahilly’s GAA Club, was one of the best Wexford club footballers over the last fifteen years. Flynn also enjoyed a lengthy career with the Wexford Senior Footballers.
Flynn has been managing the adult footballers of Wexford town club St Joseph’s for the previous two seasons.
Speaking about Flynn continuing in his role, St Joseph’s GAA Club expressed their delight:
“We are absolutely delighted to announce that Adrian Flynn will be staying on as our men’s team manager for 2025. Adrian has been an absolute revelation for us since he joined 2 years ago and his expertise, professionalism and attention to detail has been driving standards throughout all our age grades.”
“We look forward to seeing what 2025 has in store and we wish Adrian and his management team the very best of luck,” a spokesperson for the club said.
Their club’s AGM will take place on Monday evening and he will be officially ratified for another year with the team then.
It’s great to see former Wexford players, who have a wealth of knowledge about the game, stepping into management roles and developing their managerial skills. It can only be a good thing for Wexford football when former players like this step into management.
