New astro-turf pitch officially opened at Wexford football club

One Wexford football club officially opened their brand-new astro-turf pitch on Sunday.

Wexford football club Forth Celtic were delighted to open their new astro-turf pitch, which can be used all-year round which will only help to develop their club and players.

The new facility represents a major enhancement for Murrintown club, providing a high-quality playing surface that can be used year-round.

The ceremonial ribbon-cutting was led by the clubs Chairman Mark Roche and Secretary Greg Mullen attended by James Browne TD, FAI Chief Football Officer Marc Canham regional FAI representatives and local representative Lisa McDonald, parents, supporters and club players.
