Dillon’s Londis Fethard-on-Sea celebrate grand re-opening with Festive cheer

Dillon’s Londis Fethard-on-Sea, Co. Wexford, recently celebrated the official launch of its newly refurbished store…

Owner David Dillon welcomed customers and the local community to a Christmas-themed event to mark the occasion.

The extensive renovations, made possible through significant investment, included a range of enhancements designed to deliver an upgraded shopping experience for the Fethard-on-Sea community.

The grand reopening event was a festive affair, serving as a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to customers for their patience and support during the refurbishment process. Highlights of the day included a visit from Santa, a Spin the Wheel competition, face painter, a thrilling Trolley Dash, and plenty of fun games surrounding the official ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The upgraded store featured an extended range of high-quality products, including the expertly crafted Bia Blás Deli and an expanded Bakery, catering to the diverse needs of the local community.

The refurbishment also contributed to job creation, further strengthening Dillon’s Londis Fethard-on-Sea’s role as an essential part of the local economy. The store proudly provides employment for up to 30 people in the area.

Reflecting on the relaunch with Wexford Weekly, David Dillon said:

“We’re so grateful for the support of our customers, neighbours, and friends. This celebration was our way of saying ‘thank you’ for your loyalty and patience throughout the works. We’re thrilled to continue serving Fethard-on-Sea and look forward to many more years of being part of this vibrant community.”

Dillon’s Londis Fethard-on-Sea has remained committed to its community-focused values and continued to serve the Fethard-on-Sea and surrounding areas of Grange seven days a week.
