Wexford boxer Dean Walsh has new fight scheduled

From bad news to good news in days…

Fans and supporters of Dean Walsh were recently left disappointed after his next scheduled professional boxing bout, scheduled to take place in Dublin on Feb 15th, was cancelled.

The organisers, JB Promotions, pulled the whole event – stating that the reasons for cancelling the whole event was completely “out of their control.”

But it’s not all bad news for Wexford boxer Dean Walsh. On Sunday, it was announced that he will feature on a new card on March 1st. With preparations going well, Walsh will be delighted to be on a new card which was scheduled close to the original fight date – and that all his training has not gone to waste.

Walsh’s next fight will take place at Skate Centeal in Sheffield, England on a card promoted by Fightzone. His opponent has not yet been revealed by the promoter. The Wexford boxer’s fight will also be streamed via TalkSport.

Walsh will be looking to move to 2-0 in the professional boxing ranks having an enjoyed a stellar amateur career, winning 13 National titles in the process. He will be hoping to have a very active 2025, with eyes on a domestic title fight down the line, all going to plan.

Tickets for the fight cost £50.
