Wexford Senior Camogie reveal their captain for 2025

The Wexford Senior Camogie team have revealed their captain ahead of the 2025 season…

The Wexford Senior Camogie team will be captained by Laura Dempsey of the Glynn-Barntown club, and daughter of 1996 All-Ireland winner, Tom Dempsey.

She has been hailed by the management group as someone that people look up to and view as a role-model on the panel.

Meanwhile, Ciara O’Connor who hails from the St Martins club, will be the vice-captain for the upcoming season.

O’Connor has been described as someone who brings “fierce commitment” while her “dedication and passion will inspire the team to reach new heights.”

It’s a new leadership pair for the group which is also under a new management team. This year’s team will be managed by James Dooley, while Darren Stamp, RJ Blake, and Liam Butler are also involved in the backroom team.
