Dean Gonzalez Furlong isn’t waiting around…
Fresh from his latest victory in Spain, the Wexford boxer has since revealed that he is due to fight again this month.
Furlong enjoyed a unanimous points decision in his previous fight against Dmitri Blinov, seeing the Wexford boxer move to 4-0 in the professional boxing ranks.
Sharing the news today, Dean Gonzalez Furlong confirmed that he will be headlining yet another boxing card in Spain.
The boxing bout will take place on April 26th at the Pabellon Municipal in Alicante, Spain, with tickets currently available through DeanFurlong_ on Instagram.
At the time of writing, his opponent is still to be confirmed.
It’s another step in the right direction for the 22-year-old Wexford man. Headlining a bill at just 22 years of age is incredible; to do it twice shows the respect that the promoters have for the young Wexford man.
It means that three of Wexford’s professional boxers will have their own boxing bouts taking place this April. In related boxing news, both David ‘Bomber’ Kennedy and Dean Walsh will be fighting on the “Night of Champions” card at the National Stadium in Dublin on April 12th.
