Wexford great Larry O’Gorman is set to join a management set-up…
O’Gorman, who won an All-Star and an All-Ireland hurling title in 1996, will join Knockbridge Hurling Club. The Louth club team announced that Larry O’Gorman has joined the management team for 2025 in a social media post placed on X on Tuesday.
The club, primarily associated with hurling, plays in the Louth Senior hurling championship and have won 12 Louth Senior hurling titles, with their most recent coming in 2020 with a win over St. Fechins.
“The opportunity to bring Larry on board was too good to turn down and came about through a mix of good fortune and strong Wexford links,” the club said.

Speaking on his appointment, O’Gorman’s said:
“I am delighted to join Knockbridge. A brilliant club with a serious passion for hurling. I don’t care where you’re from. If you love the game and are willing to work hard, then anything is possible. I hope I can add some value and drive the lads on,” he said.
O’Gorman will join the current management team of Noel Callan and Conaill Byrne.
