Wexford to play in Oscar Traynor All Ireland final this weekend

Wexford will be playing in the Oscar Traynor final this weekend…

The Wexford Football League will take on some of the top talent from the Limerick Football League.


For those interested in attending the game and supporting Willie Peare’s Wexford side, the fixture details have also been released.

It will take place on Sunday, April 13th, at 3pm in Jackson Park, Limerick.

With two second-half goals from North End’s Eoin Rhodes, the Wexford Oscar Traynor team won 2-1 in the semi-final defeating neighbours and reigning champions Waterford in a derby encounter. Meanwhile, the Limerick side defeated the Mayo League in their semi-final encounter.

In related Wexford football news, North End learned their opponents for the first round of the FAI Cup on Saturday when the draw was made.
