Wexford’s DJ Ciano announced to play at big Irish music festival

A Wexford act has been announced to play at a big Irish festival…

Cian Fitzgerald Byrne, also known throughout the county as DJ Ciano, will be playing at the Greenfields Festival over the Bank Holiday weekend on May3rd and May 4th 2025.

The Greenfields Festival takes place in Athy, Co. Kildare. There is on-site camping, glamping and camper/caravan camping available.

DJ Ciano will be playing at the Heineken Stage on Sunday, May 4th.

Speaking to Wexford Weekly, Cian told us:

“Yeah, I’m really excited to be playing at Greenfields. It’s a big music festival in Ireland. It’s going to be great – and I’m buzzing for it,” he said.

It’s over two-days on both Saturday and Sunday. Wexford’s Cian will join the likes of The Whistlin’ Donkeys, Aslan, The Stunning, Dan McCabe, Casper Walsh, Gavin James, Mundy, and Fieldsy to name just some of the well-known stand-out performers.

Ciano’s stardom has continued to rise over the past number of years. The young Camolin man regularly travels around the country DJ’ing and selling out gigs. He started his DJ career from his garden shed, going live on Facebook and TikTok during the Covid-19 pandemic – but he has only gone from strength to strength in the local Irish music scene since.

Tickets for the Greenfields Music Festival can be purchased online. Adult cost €142.20 for the two days.
