
Just like with previous years, Wexford Weekly is running a campaign to find “Wexford’s Best” for 2025…
For 2025, to kick off the Wexford’s Best campaign, we started with a bang. We started with the topic of Wexford’s Best Pub, which gathered significant interest online.
Now, our attention has turned to finding Wexford’s Best Coffee for 2025. The last time we ran a poll to find Wexford’s Best Coffee was in 2023, but a lot can change in two years.
This topic was proudly sponsord by Jack’s Coffee. Located on Thomas Street in Gorey town, this establishment has became a haven for coffee lovers in the South-East. They specialise in serving small batch coffees and mouth-watering pastries and treats. Beyond their coffee and treats, Jack’s Coffee has been described as a friendly environment – and a place where you’re guaranteed to leave with a smile.

Followers of Wexford Weekly were asked to simply vote by writing the name of their favourite place to get a coffee in Wexford into the comments section on our Facebook poll.
246 unqiue users voted on the poll, which ran for one week from 14th June 2025 to 21st June 2025. We then compiled the votes – and the standings for 2025 are now in.
5 – The Coffee Garden
Located in the village of Camolin across the road from the popualar Jack’s Tavern is another popular premises. This time, it’s of course a coffee house – aptly called The Coffee Garden given its visual appeal and outdoor area for customers to sit and enjoy their delicious coffees. Their main focus is take-away coffees, which ideally suits motorits passing by the small village of Camolin looking for their next caffeine hit.

4 – The Coffee Pod, Gorey
The Coffee Pod is located in the Gorey town park. Just a few minutes walk or a short drive from Gorey town, this coffee pod is uniqulely located in the town park and caters for walkers, runners, cyclists, dog-walkers, and families who are all outdoors and enjoying the green area. The Gorey town park has been recently renovated – with apt car parking spaces available – and this coffee pod, along with the new town park, has proven to be a hit with locals.


3 – Jack’s Coffee
Located in Gorey town, Jack’s Coffee has made it into the list of the top five best coffees in all of Wexford. Jack’s Coffee is located on Thomas Street in Gorey town. After the success of Fika By Daniel, owner Daniel decided to open his own coffee shop in 2023. The name ‘Jacks Coffee’ is suitably named after his son. Along with coffee, they have a wide-range of sweet treats on offer for all to enjoy. It says a lot when after just two years, they are already considered to be one of the best places in Wexford for a coffee! Over the last month, they’ve also placed Acai bowls on their menu – another hit with their customers.

2 – Mugshot Coffee
Mugshot Coffee takes the second spot on the list for Wexford’s best coffee. Mugshot coffee is located in the village of Taghmon. They received 53 votes of the 246. The village coffee shop is open until 8am to 4pm daily. A perfect stop on your next Wexford adventure.

1 – Murf’s Coffee Pod
Taking home the prize and the plaudits for Wexford’s best coffee for 2025 is Murf’s Coffee Pod. This coffee pod is located in Pairc Garman in Wexford town, home to the Faythe Harriers GAA club amongst others – but as they’re a mobile coffee trailer, they can also cater for events. Receiving 38% of individual votes (94/246) says all you need to know about this little blue coffee hut in Wexford as their loyal customers clearly love their coffee and were willing to vote for them. On Sunny days, their iced-coffees will not be beaten!
