The Wexford Masters hurling team enjoyed yet another win in the Masters All-Ireland hurling competition on Saturday in Enniscorthy….
The Wexford Masters hurling team defeated Cork on a score-line of 2-28 to 4-12 in Bellefield on Saturday afternoon.
Wexford’s win over the Rebels means that they have advanced to the All-Ireland final for 2025.
It’s the second year in a row that the Wexford Masters hurling team have advanced to the All-Ireland final. Just like last year, they will be taking on Tipperary in the All-Ireland Masters hurling final.
Tipperary ran out worthy winners of last year’s competition, but Wexford – with Dave Guiney, David Kennedy and Padge Walsh at the helm – will be hoping to go one step further.
Both Wexford and Tipperary have not played each other in the group stages. Similar to last year, it’s likely that the last group game will now be run off as an All-Ireland final, with both teams already in it.
