John Hegarty’s Wexford Senior Footballers are two from two in the Allianz Football League. It’s an impresive start for the Model County — who now sit on top spot of Division 3 — after being promoted from Division 4 just last season.
However, one team that stood in the way of Wexford attaining silverware last season was Limerick and Wexford will be facing that familiar foe again this weekend. Last season, Wexford defeated Limerick in the second round of the Allianz Football League (Div 4), but then lost out to them in the Division 4 final.
The match takes place on Sunday, Feb 15th at 1pm in Rathkeale (Limerick).
The Limerick vs Wexford match is not available to watch or stream on any platform, however, South East Radio will have live commentary of the game.
