Keith Rossiter brings in new selector to Wexford Senior hurling backroom team

A new selector has been brought into the Wexford Senior hurling backroom team…

The Wexford Senior hurlers have now played four games in the Allianz Hurling League, winning 3 and drawing their most recent clash (Saturday) against Dublin in Croke Park.

Wexford have two games in the Allianz League remaining. They will take on Clare in two week’s time before they face Kildare in the final game.

After that, their attention will swiftly turn to the opening round of the Leinster Senior hurling championship — where they’ll face Kildare again.

To aid with the team’s preparation, Wexford Senior hurling manager Keith Rossiter has added a new member to his backroom team.

Rossiter has called on the help of Noel Carton (Cloughbawn) who has been drafted in as a selector for the team moving forward.

The appointment was ratified at the most recent Wexford GAA County Board meeting which took place on February 17th, 2026 at Chadwicks Wexford Park.

Along with Carton’s appointment, Wexford fans were delighted to learn that Rapparees clubman, Liam Ryan, has rejoined the panel after an absence.

Although looking on from the sidelines, the long-serving Wexford full back travelled with the Wexford Senior hurling squad to Croke Park for their clash against the Dubs.
