Lifestyle Fitness in Enniscorthy confirmed it will cease operations with immediate effect from 10:00pm on Monday, 30th March 2026.

The announcement marks the end of a 10-year journey for the gym, which has become a familiar part of the town’s health and fitness scene.

Owner of the gym, Alan Wilson, shared an emotional statement reflecting on the decision:

“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the immediate closure of Lifestyle Fitness, effective from 10:00pm on Monday, 30th March 2026. After 10 incredible years, this has not been an easy decision. Lifestyle Fitness has been more than just a gym—it has been a community, built on hard work, dedication, and the shared goal of helping people become the best version of themselves.”

Over the years, the facility built a strong reputation not only as a place to train but as a supportive environment where members connected and motivated one another. Wilson paid tribute to the team behind the business:

“I would like to sincerely thank our amazing staff, past and present, for their unwavering commitment, professionalism, and passion. You have been the backbone of everything we’ve built.”

He also expressed deep gratitude to the gym’s members, acknowledging their role in shaping its atmosphere:

“To our members—thank you. Your loyalty, energy, and support over the years have meant more than words can express. You created the atmosphere that made this place so special. To my family, thank you for your constant love, support, guidance, and advice throughout this journey. None of this would have been possible without you.”

While the closure brings an end to the business, Wilson emphasised pride in what had been achieved:

“We are incredibly proud of what has been achieved over the past decade, and while this chapter comes to a close, the memories and impact will remain.”
