There are plenty of excellent pubs around County Wexford…
As part of the 2026 ‘Wexford Weekly – Wexford’s Best’ campaign, we’re on the hunt to find out the best of everything throughout County Wexford.
For this topic, which is sponsored by Breen’s Bar in Gorey, we are searching to find the place with Wexford’s best Guinness.
We issued a public poll on Facebook for one week from May 27th until June 4th 2026. The poll received significant social media traction with 654 individuals voting on the poll for their favourite Guinness.

5 – The Bargy Bar
Located in Bridgetown, The Bargy Bar received 40 individual votes. Their premises has been described as a “perfect spot for a few drinks, Saturday nights with darts, and the funniest nights out.” Another excellent aspect of this small cosy pub in South Wexford is their Guinness.

4 – Quigley’s Bar
Receiving 48 individual votes on the Wexford Weekly poll and taking fourth spot for Wexford’s Best Guinness 2026 is Quigley’s Bar. Quigley’s Bar is located in Kilmore. They are a local family run traditional Irish pub, in business since 1951. Sipping beautiful pints of the black stuff while listening to cracking live music is a common feature with the locals here.

3 – The Bunker Bar
Taking third place for Wexford’s Best Guinness 2026 is The Bunker Bar. Located in The Rock, just five minutes outside of Gorey town, The Bunker Bar is doing something right. Their Guinness is a local favourite. Owned by Orla Molloy and Jimmy Flemming, The Bunker Bar is also home to the music festival — The Bunker Bash — which will take place on their premises again this Summer. It’s also noteworthy that The Bunker Bar is the only pub in the Gorey area which has made this list; cracking pints of Guinness.

2 – The White House Bar
Although The White House Bar in Enniscorthy received an unbelievable 112 individual votes from their loyal customers, it wasn’t enough this year to take the crown. The White House Bar is located in the heart of Enniscorthy. In 2024 and 2025, they won the public vote as Wexford’s Best Guinness. Like the other pubs on this list, they regularly feature live music, darts leagues, and pool leagues. A perfect mix.

1 – Redmond’s, The Bay
Taking the number one spot and the crown for Wexford’s Best Guinness 2026 is Redmond’s The Bay. This pub is located in Rosslare. Of the 654 individual votes, Redmond’s The Bay received 138 accounting for over 21% of all votes. It’s says a lot when customers are willing to vote — but even more so when they come out in their droves. The pub is ran by John Redmond and Edel Purcell and it’s located in a beautiful part of County Wexford at Rosslare Strand.
Well done to new champion — Redmond’s The Bay!
